1Thessalonians 5:18 (MSG) Be cheerful no matter what, pray all the time; thank God no matter what happens. This is the way God wants you who belong to Christ Jesus to live.
From me to you…
Are you having a bad day? Did you wake up feeling like urggg? Did your day start well but seem to have taken a turn for the worst? I can identify with you. I’ve had my share of days like that. But, I’ve found a good solution for it. “An attitude of gratitude” I stopped looking at the bad or not so good and I began to think about all the good that is in my life. I also thought about the lessons I learned from some of the bad things. I began to express thankfulness in all things.
In Lewis Howes book, The School of Greatness he says, “Life is better if you develop an attitude of gratitude.” “If you concentrate on what you have, you’ll always have more. If you concentrate on what you don’t have, you’ll never have enough.”
Do you want an attitude of gratitude? I challenge you each morning to wake up and express 5 things that you are grateful for. Before you go to sleep at night express another 5 things or the same 5 from the morning. Every time your mind wonders to what you don’t have immediately give thanks for what you do have.
After you have tried this for a week, please share with me how it has impacted your life.
Blessings,
LaDonna
