The Power of Agreement

from me to you…

What is agreement? Webster’s Dictionary defines agreement as; harmony of opinion, action or character.

I have been seeking God for breakthrough in a few areas of my life and in my home. My prayers were centered around “Lord do this, Lord do that” and then suddenly I felt in my spirit “agree with me on the situation”  How? The Holy Spirit led me to Acts 2:1-2. Do what the 120 did, but with Me. The 120 were in one place on one accord (agreement) and then suddenly the power of the Holy Spirit showed up.  Here’s the revelation of coming into agreement with the Word of God.

1. Obedience – To get to the upper room the 120 had to first obey the commandment of the Lord “Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high.” (Luke 24:49) 2. Get in one place – He that dwells in the the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. Stop searching outside of the will of God for answers. Dwell in worship…live in the presence of God. 3. Get on one accord – come into agreement with the Word of God. Find scriptures that give answers to your situation and pray them over the situation. For instance…if you’re praying about the salvation of a loved one. The bible says the promise (salvation) is unto you and your seed.  Declare and decree the word.

The power of this agreement will cause a suddenly in your life. Suddenly doors are opened. Suddenly prayers are answered. Suddenly you experience a breakthrough. Suddenly you are empowered. Suddenly an abundance of favor is present in your life.

Then the Holy Spirit said to me “do not worry about those that are not in agreement with you. Stay focus and stay in agreement with Me. I will accomplish what I set my Word out to do and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.”
