Psalm 149_High Praise of God

from me to you…

Let the high praises of God be in your mouth and a two-edged sword in your hands.

Your praise will confuse the enemy. Your praise will unlock doors. Your praise will bring down walls.

Praise confused the enemies of King Jehoshaphat and the children of Israel. (2 chronciles 20) “ And when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten”.

Praise unlocked prison doors for Paul and Silas. (Acts 16)  25 And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.26 And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed.

Praised brought down the walls of Jericho (Joshua 6) When the trumpets sounded, the army shouted, and at the sound of the trumpet, when the men gave a loud shout, the wall collapsed; so everyone charged straight in, and they took the city.

Now let everything that have breath praise the Lord!!  Go ahead and get your praise on…There is victory in your praise!
