from me to you…
Well, this is a new month. It’s the eighth month. Eight meaning new beginnings.
As I sat at the water front on Sunday afternoon, I looked out at the water and asked God a few questions and made a few statements. “I want a new beginning.” “How do I know it’s a new beginning?” “What do I do different?” Softly I heard, let go! start over! Go back to the beginning. So, I pulled my bible out of my back-pack and went to John 1…In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him; and without Him was not anything made that was made. Why was I lead to the Word? Because the answers to our questions can always be found in the Word of God. I again softly heard “I started over.” God, Father, You, You started over, was my thought. “Yes!”
God started over in the book of Genesis chapter 6 5 Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. 6 And the Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. 7 So the Lord said, “I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them.” 8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.
God revealed to me that even He, the great I Am had to start over. What He did was acknowledged that His original plan was not working out. He then began strategically planning for the new beginning. (verse 13-22) He did not focus on the old plan, but all His attention went to the new plan. I’m going to share the steps that the Lord gave to me for a new beginning:
1. Acknowledge that whatever you were doing is not working out.
2. Committ to a new beginning with a strategic plan from God.
3. Share your plans with the Lord and you will succeed. Prov 16:3 (CEV)
4. DO NOT FOCUS ON THE OLD PLAN THAT YOU HAD!!!
5. When you hear the voice of God about your plan…OBEY!
Here’s a word of prophecy for someone…”you have already done the above steps. You are in your NOW time. Now, God would say is your time. Favor, finances and grace is being released for your new beginning.”
It’s a fresh start and a beautiful new beginning for you and I…
