“Life is difficult but it is also purposeful” Richard Paul Evans, The Four Doors.
from me to you…
When I read the words “life is difficult, but it is also purposeful”, I paused for a moment
and said Amen! This statement brought back to my memory some of the difficulties I have experienced and continue to experience. But, knowing that I was born with a purpose makes difficulties a little more easier to handle. I can say with confidence that my purpose is greater than my pain!
I think about the lives of individuals such as Helen Keller. Born in 1880 as a healthy child, but before she turned two years old she was stricken with an illness that left her blind, deaf, and mute. This little girl not being able to see, hear or talk overcame her obstacles in life to become a college graduate, an author and world-renowned activist. She received recognition and many awards in her lifetime. I believe her purpose caused a determination to spring up in her soul which led to her perseverance to live a life full of purpose, despite life’s difficulties.
We are each equipped with inner strength to endure the storms of life. You must know that you are born for a reason. The storms that we face are not meant to last forever. Weather the storm with faith knowing that God has a purpose for your life. The storm you face now, may just be the one that blows you right into your destiny. Fight the good fight of faith. Embrace the difficulties with a positive attitude. For all things work together for the good to them that love God, to them who are called according to His purpose.
I challenge you to live your life on purpose, despite the difficulties that life brings.
